Nyepi: LA GIORNATA DEL SILENZIO
Nyepi in Bali is a unique event celebrated only in Bali as a Day of Silence. During Nyepi the whole Island of Bali respect a series of rules and rituals. All the activities stops, the streets are empty no car are used, everyone stays inside theyer own house, the use of light and electricity is avoided. The International airport is closed for 24 hours and everyone respect the day of Silence and Meditation. Is a particular and intense Sacred day and a very special occasion to meditate and rest.
Nyepi is preceded and followed by ceremonies and purification rituals.

During Nyepi Day, complete calm envelops the island. Hindu
Balinese people follow a ritual called the Catur Brata Penyepian. For some it
is only a moment of total relaxation and contemplation, for others, a powerful
possibility for mother nature to 'reset, purify and restart', after 364 days of
human insistence. Legend has it that the silence of the Sola distracts the
spirits of evil, which by losing references move away, leaving the island and
its inhabitants free to reborn. During the day and at night no lights are on -
in the night the darkness is total for the New Moon of the Island, from 06:00
to 06:00. No cars are allowed on the streets, except for ambulances or
emergencies.
Nyepi means silence, it is the most important and energetically powerful day of the Balinese tradition, and one of the most exceptional celebrations in the world.
The silence is respected from 6 am to 6 am the next morning. The island stops all activities as commercial, entertainment and transportation. The international airport also closes.
The Balinese divide the world between Sekala (material) and Niskala (eternal). Nyepi and the special day during the Yama (Niskala) lord of hell, cleans his rule from all the demons that send to Bali (Sekala). This needs a ceremony of great purification and transformation that involves demons, who are neutralized and transformed into Angels ...

YOGA GIA AND NYEPI
The word Yoga means union. It is an ancient art based on
multiple systems of harmonization between the mind the spirit and the body. The
yoga that we will practice during this Nyepi
retreat is an extraordinary opportunity to know about yourself and reborn to
new life! In recognizing our body as a Temple connected to everything,
extraordinary powers start to rise: + vitality, + strength, + harmony, +
self-sufficiency, + passion and, above all, + Joy.
The particular and energetically unique condition of
Silence and collective intent will allow us to enter into resonance, with
ourselves, between us and with the whole island and beyond.
this will bring us the clarity and freedom to reborn from
ourselves, and more powerful.
The yoga style we will practice is a vinyasa flow + GIA, a
sequence of movements synchronized with the breath and the technique of GIA
Field, which will strengthen the body, mind and our intentions. The yoga we will
practice is suitable for every level and every age.
Each session will be about 75 minutes. For this Special
Nyepi Retreat the yoga will be practiced especially on the beach.

La Sera: Ritrovo di tutti i partecipanti, presentazione del Corso e del programma dettagliato, consegna braccialetti e kit iniziatico individuale, prima Iniziazione e sessione yoga in spiaggia con bagno liberatorio.
Da Domenica a Mercoledi
Ogni Giorno 2 Ore circa di yoga in spiaggia con Consuelo, e 2 Ore circa di Corso ed esperienze THE FIELD con Fabio. trasferimento all'Hotel 4* Potentissimo di Ubud (nella foresta con acque termali naturali). Esperienze nella Foresta.
